Deck 1 and Deck 2 working
Mar 13, 2018 Ratzi takes a first look at the brand new Pioneer DDJ-SB3, with a quick talk through of what's on the controller fresh out the box! More info on the controll. Problem with djay Pro and Pioneer DDJ-SB2 I just purchased the Pioneer DDJ-SB2 to have an actual controller for practice. I am not receiving audio through my cueing headphones which are connected through the Pioneer DDJ-SB2 controller. All of the features were designed to be where you need them, when you need them. The layout inherits elements from our DDJ-S series with jog wheels, Performance Pads, play and cue buttons, independent Auto Loop buttons and all knobs and fader positions arranged in an easy-to-reach way that mimics professional gear. Pioneer DDJ-SX Mapping V. 1.0 for Algoriddim Djay, by viper9711. 2 Decks, 2 FX-Unit´s At first be sure that your unit is ready in „Mode for OTHER Software“ than Serato DJ (see Pio-Manual Page 25+26 how to change the Mode, Key Lock Btn. Has to light up) Otherwise the Mapping will NOT work!! The Mixtrack Pro 3 is a bit thinner and less chunky. The depth of the DDJ-SB is 271.2mm compared to the Mixtrack Pro 3 with its 233mm depth. At first glance the Pioneer seems more purposeful, with the platter / jog wheel taking quite a prominent centre stage, with a basic mixer setup to compliment it.

Algoriddim’s djay Pro software for Mac is now compatible with the entire Pioneer DDJ series of controllers. The just-released djay Pro 1.2 natively supports the DDJ-SB, DDJ-SR, DDJ-SX, DDJ-SX2, and the DDJ-SZ, the big takeaway meaning you can now spin tunes directly from Spotify using these controllers.
Also included in the update is support for the Numark Mixtrack 3, Mixtrack Pro 3, and N4, as well as new touchpad multi-touch gestures that let you control djay Pro like a touchscreen device, making laptop-only DJing fare more comfortable.
We’re quite excited for this update because we’ve long wanted to take djay Pro out for a spin at gigs, but none of our pro controllers were supported yet (I’ve been using a DDJ-SR for over a year now). This new update changes all that, and in perfect timing for the weekend, too!

What do you think about this new update? Been raring to try out djay Pro, but haven’t been able to because your controller isn’t supported? What other controllers do you think should be included in upcoming versions? Let us know your thoughts below.
